Danny Wayne Rawlinson Obituary

Danny Wayne Rawlinson, 70, of Hobbs passed away on February 4, 2025 in Lubbock, Texas. Danny was born on September 23, 1954 in Dallas Texas to J.D. & Shirley J. (Skidmore) Rawlinson. He grew up in Hobbs, New Mexico and attended Hobbs schools and received an associate's degree from New Mexico Jr. College. He married Analyn Querubin on July 15, 2009 in Hobbs, New Mexico she was his soulmate and he loved her deeply. Danny worked for several oilfield Company's in Hobbs over the years, then transitioned over to working for the utilities departments in Hobbs & Eunice until his retirement. He was survived by his loving cherished wife: Analyn Rawlinson of Hobbs of 15 years; two daughters: Tiffany & Amy; two sisters: Darla Adams (Stanley) of Tyler, Texas and Virginia Johnson (Keith) of Washington; Several nieces and nephews, who loved their "Uncle My" dearly, numerous cousins and many lifelong friends. Danny was a wonderful man. He loved fiercely and was a protector of those he cared about. Quiet, but silly and funny…he always had a joke to tell. He loved to fish, hangout with his family over a good meal, classic rock music, and watching a Dallas Cowboy's game with his best girl, Analyn
