Funeral services for Micaela Rodriguez Gaytan, 70, of Lovington will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 10:00 am at Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel with Alvaro Navarrette officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Micaela was born on May 8, 1954 in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico to Ernesto and Juana (Gaytan) Rodriguez and passed away on February 15, 2025 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Micaela was a home maker. She loved to cook and shop on line. Micaela never meet a stranger. She liked doing her hair and make-up. She would always help everyone she could. She was preceded in death by her parents: Ernesto and Juana Rodriguez; two sisters: Juanita Silverio and Maria Rodriguez; and two brothers: Gerardo Rodriguez and Simon Rodriguez. She is survived by her daughter: Amalia Rodriguez; three brothers: Ernesto Rodriguez, Fausto Rodriguez and wife Sylvia and Guillermo Rodriguez and wife Amparo; and two grandchildren: Monica Villasenor and Ricardo Villasenor; also by her nephew: Dante Silverio; three nieces; Mayrin Silverio, Hannah Silverio, and Adriana Rodriguez. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to www.kirbysmithrogers.com.
