Guadalupe Cabello Meléndez passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 12th, 2025. Guadalupe was born on February 28th, 1933 in Castelon, Texas to Hermeregildo and Josefita Cabello. Guadalupe is survived by her husband of almost 70 years Alfredo Melendez. Her children: Maria (José) Dorado, Alfredo (Elodia) Meléndez and David Meléndez. Her grandchildren: Mónica (Josh) Morgan, Anissa Meléndez, Abby (Joe) Thomason, Deanna (Jeff DeKeyser), Matthew Melendez and Kristen Melendez. Six great grandchildren: Chloe (Austin) Thomas, Alison Dixon, Cooper Keas, Ryan Thomason, Emma and Olivia DeKeyser, Jonah Morgan and one great-great- grandson Levi Thomas. Also, by her brothers: Narciso and Javier Cabello and numerous nieces and nephews. Guadalupe was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers: Rosendo, Cruz, Alfaro, Luis and Antonio Cabello and one sister: Antonia Estrada and a granddaughter: Crystal Marie Melendez. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Catholic with Father Jose Lucero officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Rosay will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 9:00 am at St. Thomas Catholic Church. Condolences may be sent to
