Graveside services for Harold Leon Stanley, 88, of Lovington will be held on September 2, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Lovington Cemetery with David Steward officiating. Harold was born on October 21, 1936 in Glade, Arkansas to Achel and Ora (Dawson) Stanley and passed away on August 27, 2025. Stanley graduated in 1955 from Bentonville, Arkansas. He then joined the National Guard then moved to Borger, Texas to finish out the National Guard where he finished in 8 years. Harold liked to work doing construction work because he did a lot of traveling working. He liked playing golf, playing cards and other games. Harold liked doing Karaoke and scratching off lottery tickets.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Achel and Ora Stanley; and one son: Micheal Stanley.

He is survived by one brother: James Stanley and wife Dana; and one niece and one nephew; one daughter; and family and friends who loved and cared for him.
