Edward "Eddie" Gonzales Soto, 61, of Lovington NM passed away on September 18, 2025 in Albuquerque, NM. Memorial services and reception will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Knights of Columbus in Lovington. Eddie was born in Lovington NM to late Rafael Soto and late Cleofas Gonzales. Eddie was a very good handyman who liked to do construction, there was never anything he couldn't fix or do. He always said "Macgyver didn't have nothing on him". Eddie loved to go fishing you could usually find him at Chaparral Park. He also loved listening to his oldies but goodies.

He is survived by his sons: Eddie Soto Jr., Jonathan Soto and Anthony Alvarez and grandchildren; His sisters: Rosie and husband Juan Marquez, Hilda and husband Manuel Rios, and Elida Valencia all of Lovington and many family members.
