So sorry to hear of this loss of a longtime, great friend. I met Bill while we were both at Sul Ross and he helped me find abilities in my singing that grew through many years. I remember him saying that we played off of each other; the more one of us gave expression to our music, it sparked something in the other. So many wonderful times with Bill, Shirley and Twyla while the kids were growing up. A really hard part of moving to Texas was leaving behind the music and friendship I shared with Bill and Shirley. The love, support and pride they both shared for family was an inspiration to those who knew them. When Bill made a commitment
to the Lord and was baptized he said he wanted to call me first and share that with me. I was sorry to have lost contact with him in the last few years but so glad he found his way and had the love and support of family returned to him in his time of need. Praying for the family and thanking God for the many years of blessing Bill was in my life.
