Joe Samuel Sisneros, 73, of Lovington, New Mexico, passed away peacefully early Friday morning, October 31, 2025. He was born on March 19, 1952, in Portales, New Mexico, to the late Casimiro Sisneros and Concepcion "Conchita" Chavez.

Joe spent many years as a mechanic — a role that reflected both his skill and generous spirit. But it was his spontaneous nature — the kind that made him just up and go on a whim — his warm heart, and his unforgettable laughter that truly defined him.

He was preceded in death by his parents: his brother: Ernesto Sisneros and his sister: Mary Lucero.

He is survived by his four children: Gloria Sisneros of Amarillo, Veronica Aranda (Fabian), Ulises Sisneros of Lovington, and Joe Samuel Sisneros Jr. (Kim) of Las Cruces;

his sisters: Lucy Sanchez of Hobbs, Margaret Sotelo (Oscar) of Portales, Susie Lann (David), and Theresa Sisneros of Amarillo; his brothers: Robert Sisneros of Amarillo and Fred Sisneros of Las Cruces; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, all of whom he loved dearly.

Joe will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His laughter was truly one of a kind — infectious, full of life, and capable of lighting up any room. His energy and unforgettable presence will continue to live on through his family and the many lives he touched.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home.
