Funeral Services for Hilaria Gutierrez Ramos, 85 will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Father Samuel Ameh officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Hilaria was born on November 1, 194 in New Braunfels, Texas to Jose Silva and Lorenza (Medrano) Gutierrez and passed away on December 11, 2025. Hilaria liked to dance and crochet. She loved to work as a caregiver and liked to clean houses. Hilaria liked to spend time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Jesus Ramirez Gomez; his parents: Jose and Lorenza Gutierrez; one daughter: Patsy Zavala; two sons: Raymond Martinez and Johnny Martinez Sr.; three sisters: Paola Perez, Maria Aguilar and Consuelo Gallegos; and two brothers: Florentino Gutierrez and Rosario Gutierrez Sr.

She is survived by seven daughters: Mary Lou Garza, Mary Esther Collett, Angie Martinez, Ofelia Escamilla, Maria and husband Salvador Sanchez Silva Sr., Enedina Gomez and Susie Gomez; three sons: Frank Martinez, Richard Martinez, and Felix Martinez; two brothers: Jose M Gutierrez and Santos M. Gutierrez; three sisters: Lorenza Jimenez, Dolores Gutierrez, and Esperanza G. Renteria; numerous grand-children and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025 from 11:00 am until after Rosary. Rosary will be held at 6:00 pm at Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home.
