Funeral services for Minnie Sue Carlisle, 78, of Lovington will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home with David Stewart officiating. Burial will Follow at Lovington Cemetery. Sue was born on April 25, 1947 in Hagerman, New Mexico to John and Alma (Leslie) Henderson and passed away on January 11, 2026. Sue was raised in Tatum where she graduated. She liked going to bingo, traveling, horse racing and going to the museums. Sue also liked going shopping and to antique stores. She was a hard worker all her life. Sue traveled may places with her husband.

She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Alma Henderson; her husband: Ernest Carlisle; son: Johnny Edward Foster; three brothers: Roland Hudson, Truman Henderson and Johnny Henderson; and one sister: Lisa Marie Henderson.

She is survived by two sons: Timmy Foster and Fletcher Foster; one daughter: Star and husband Kent Gibson; two grandchildren: Zion Gibson and Zyra Gibson; and one great-grandchild: Alysayuh.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
