Funeral services for Rodolfo Guadalupe Sanchez, 19, of Lovington will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Father Samuel Ameh officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Rodolfo was born on February 23, 2007 in Hobbs to Rudy and Gracey (Hernandez) Sanchez and passed away on March 9, 2026 in Lubbock, Texas. Rodolfo was raised in Lovington graduating from Lovington High School in 2025. He liked fishing and racing. Rodolfo enjoyed playing his play station and Xbox. He loved spending time with his family and loved his grandmother's tea. His passion was shooting his guns. And last but not least he never had time for anything.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents.

He is survived by his parents: Rudy and Gracey Sanchez; two brothers: Carlos Hernandez and Samuel Sanchez; one sister: Laura Sanchez; and lots of family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2026 from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm and on Monday, March 16, 2026 from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm at Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home with a rosary at 6:00 pm at St. Thomas Catholic Church.
