Funeral services for Dora Quintana, 88, of Lovington will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Father Samuel Ameh officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Dora was born on July 17, 1937 in Presidio, Texas to Baltazar Franco and Maria Hernandez and passed away on April 23, 2026 in Lubbock, Texas. Dora loved gardening especially her flowers and plants. She liked going to McDonalds every morning for her coffee. Dora liked to go shopping and making her garage sales.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Baltazar and Maria Franco; her husband Ricardo Quintana Sr.; three sons: infant Richardo Quintana Jr., Ricardo Quintana Jr. and Arturo Quintana; and all her siblings.

She is survived by one son: Henry Quintana; six daughters: Maria, Manuela, Delma, Patricia, Marta, and Alicia; forty grand children and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 from 4:00 pm until after Rosary. Rosary will be held at 6:00 pm at Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home.
