Memorial graveside services for Riley Derryl Moorhead, 25, of Lovington will be held on May 23, 2026 at 10:00 am at Resthaven Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Riley was born on January 22, 2001 in Hobbs to Rusty and Joni (Peterson) Moorhead and passed away on May 4, 2026.

Riley likes hunting, fishing, and golfing. He likes playing video games and playing poker. Riley liked telling jokes making people laugh and was quick witted.

He is survived by his parents: Rusty and Joni Moorhead; one son: River Derryl Moorhead; one brother: Dusty Lee Moorhead; two sisters: Patience and Trinity Moorhead; his grandparents: Rocky and Nancy Moorhead, Kelly De Long and Kevin (Rogers), and Cara Peterson; and his great-grandmother: Vickie Moorhead.
