Ruby was born on December 8, 1968 to Enrique Alvarez and Lupe (Lopez) Medrano and passed away on April 16, 2019 in Lovington, NM. Ruby was raised in Lovington and went to school here.
Ruby loved music, dancing, helping people and spending time with her family. She liked for them to read the Bible to her.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Surviving her is her mother and step-father: Lupe and Reyes Medrano Sr. of Lovington, NM; four sons: Mario Alvarez, Fabian Torres, Rubio Torres, and Leroy Torres; one daughter: Cynthia Alvarez; two brothers: Tony Alvarez and wife Yolanda and Reyes Medrano Jr. and wife Antonia; three sisters: Delma Alvidez and husband Manuel, Irma Lopez, and Jeanette Juarez; three grandchildren: Ariana Alvarez, Sandy Ortiz, and Jared Alvarez.
