Obituary of Loretta Sue Tucker

Funeral services for Loretta Sue Tucker, 42, of Tatum NM will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church in Tatum with Bro. Harry Pittam officiating. Burial will follow at Tatum Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Loretta was born on November 29, 1977 in Searcy, Arkansas to James H. and Rebecca (Sherrill) McDougal and passed away on January 25, 2020 at her residence. She married Henry Tucker on September 21, 2002 in Morton, TX. Loretta loved being a mom and a wife. She was a faithful volunteer for the PTO and church. She liked doing crafts, gardening, reading and cooking. She was an excellent cook and liked trying new recipes. She loved watching her kids participate in sports, 4-H and school activities. She was preceded in death by her parents James H. and Rebecca McDougal; paternal grandparents: Joe and Laura McDougal; maternal grandparents: Elick and Ella Sherrill. She is survived by her husband Henry Tucker of Tatum, NM; two daughters: Rebecca Tucker, and Darby Tucker both of Tatum, NM; One son: Jason Tucker of Tatum, NM; one sister: Phyllis Lynskey and husband Gene of Morton, TX; three sister-in-laws: Laquita Thomas and husband Timothy of Tatum, NM, Rilda Perdue of Tatum, NM, and Pam Niemeyer and husband Russell of St. Croix, Virgin Islands; two very close nieces: Kiva Danielle Woodard and husband Kendall of Killeen, TX. and Kari Guenther and husband John of Morton, TX; one nephew: Aaron Lynskey of Morton, TX. and Bella her precious dog. Pallbearers: Kyle Niemeyer, Aaron Lynskey, Ricky Kennedy, John Guenther, Kendall Woodard, and Mark Daughtery. Honorary Pallbearers: PTO Family's: Sandy Daughtery, Jenna Deckery, Mica Martinez, Cindy Garcia, Ashley Sanchez, Tammy Wier, Cassie Wier, Kynda Flowers, Brandy Campbell, and Cynthia Hernandez.
