Type Obit Here Funeral services for Connie Marie Sandoval, 51, of Lovington will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Father Jesus Martinez officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Connie was born on March 27, 1968 in Orange County, California to Avelino Sanchez and Virginia (Espinosa) Sanchez and passed away on January 15, 2020 at her residence. Connie attended NMJC and College of the Southwest attaining her Master's Degree. She married David Sandoval on April 8, 1985 in Lovington and they have shared thirty five years of life, love and family. She was an avid reader and also enjoyed caring for the animals on the ranch. She liked the outdoors and had a green thumb especially with her roses. Swimming was a favorite pastime for Connie and barbecue get-to-gathers were very popular with her family. She loved the Denver Broncos!! And she also loved the Lovington "Wildcats"! She was very supportive of her kids games, events and activities . Connie attended St. Thomas Catholic Church and her favorite prayer was the Ave Maria. Her joy in life was her family and she made them know how special they were to her. Preceding her in death was her Mother: Virginia "Gina" Rhinehart. Surviving her is her husband David Sandoval of Lovington; Two sons: David Sandoval Jr. and fiancée, Kimberly Natividad of Lovington and Nathaniel Sandoval of Lovington; three daughters: Monica Sandoval and fiancée Alberto Franco of Lovington, Cecilia and Husband Anibal Medina of Pensacola, Florida and Victoria Sandoval and her significant other, Chad Quiroz of Lovington; one brother: Adam Sanchez of Bayard, NM; three sisters: Rhoda and husband Jason Cook of Odessa, TX., Cindi Garcia of Dalhart, TX. and Diana Luchenbach of Hobbs, NM; eight grandchildren: Aiden, Aileah, Naoko, Josiah, Naomi, Jonah, Marcos, and Colten. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 from 1:00 pm until after Rosary. Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Chapel. Condolences may be sent to kirbysmithrogers.com.
