Nell was born in Washington, Pennsylvania on September 17, 1944 to Louie and Josephine (Griffith) Neehouse and passed away on August 11, 2017 in Lubbock, TX. She moved to Carlsbad, NM at the age of twelve and attended school there graduating in 1962 from Carlsbad High School. After graduation she married Tony Yeager and they moved to Lovington to make their home and had four children together. Nell was a talented homemaker and enjoyed sewing, doing crafts and bags. She was a good cook and would make brownies for the “God Pod” at the prison. They called her the “Brownie Lady”. She was active with her boys in the boy scouts and explorer post and volunteered at hospice in early years. She most recently was employed at BCSI in security. She attended Hillcrest Baptist Church. In 2006 she married Don Sims and they have shared eleven years together. Nell loved the Christmas holiday and would get started on her Christmas shopping in January, the kids said.
