Tony loved his grandchildren and was loved by his grandchildren. They affectionately called him Nampa, Brampa, Grandpa Goober and Grandfather. He loved to go shooting outdoors and made sure that anyone wanting to learn how to shoot a firearm knew the proper mechanics, rules and discipline necessary to be skilled and safe. He loved attending gun shows and car shows. He enjoyed listening to the oldies and always had a smile on his face. Tony was very service-oriented, always helping anyone in need, as he had a heart of gold. All who knew him loved and respected him for the great man he was. Never one to complain about anything, we considered him our "Superman". Anyone who knew Tony, knew of his love for his precious Dallas Cowboys as he proudly wore their blue and silver colors. Tony worked at the Lea County Detention Center in Lovington, NM for fourteen years as a transport officer and was known as T1.
