Graveside services for Claudette Morgan, 86 of Hobbs, NM, will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 10:00 am at Prairie Haven Memorial Park Cemetery with Darrick Lasater officiating. Claudette was born on November 27, 1934 in Waurika, OK to Oza Leo and Minnie Lee (Trout) Connel and passed away on February 5, 2021 in Hobbs. Claudette was a loving, family oriented lady that put God and family first and had a lot of friends. She loved God and was an avid Bible reader and was a very dedicated Christian. She attended Hobbs Church. She liked to fish and loved going to the Florida beach. She was a Hospice volunteer for several years and would also go to the Senior Citizens center and quilt with friends. Music was special to her, especially Christian music and she liked TV also, especially "Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune" but Jeopardy best. She will be greatly missed. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Jake Morgan and four sisters. Surviving her are two sons: Steven and Gary Morgan both of Hobbs; one daughter: Patricia Martin and husband Derral of Amarillo, TX; seven grandchildren: Hollee Martin, Sean Morgan, B.J. Morgan (Tabitha), Chad Morgan, Jason Morgan (Melissa), Marci Vaughn (Jacob), and Todd Martin; and also fourteen great grandchildren. Condolences may be sent to www.kirbysmithrogers.com.
