Obituary of Ruben Larez

Graveside services for Ruben Larez, 66, of Lovington, NM will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Lovington Cemetery at 2:00 pm with Pastor Arthur Sanchez officiating. Mr. Larez was born on January 13, 1955 in Artesia, NM to Simon and Angela (Galinda) Roman and passed away on February 20, 2021 in Lubbock, TX. He grew up in Lovington and graduated from LHS where he played football and gymnastics. He worked in the oilfield for McVay for many years as a toolpusher. Ruben enjoyed traveling, and his family, but mostly he was very involved with witnessing to others. His Bible was the only book he read and was very passionate about his faith. He married Delia Garza in 2011. He is also survived by three sons ; Jessariah Larez, Ruben Larez and George Larez and two daughters: Jazabel Larez and Tania Garcia; three brothers, six sisters and nine grandchildren and a large extended family.
