A son of Albert Stanley and Ethel Helen (Fisher) Dimsha and devoted husband of Margery (Carson) Dimsha, passed away on June 2, 2018 at his residence after a short battle with cancer. He was born in Hobbs, NM on August 17, 1946 and graduated from Lovington High School in 1964 and from NMSU as an Electrical Engineer in 1970. He moved to Los Angeles, CA to work at North American Rockwell on the manned spacecraft. Alan was a licensed contractor and built many homes in Lovington. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and spent many hours in his jeep in the sandhills. He enjoyed several hobbies but time spent with his family was his greatest joy. He went to concerts and soccer games and enjoyed the many trips taken with his family. He was an active member of FUMC, serving on several boards and committees. He loved his Lord and Savior and was ready to see Jesus face to face. He was preceded in death by his father Albert Stanley Dimsha; and one brother, Stan Dimsha. Surviving him is his wife Margery Dimsha of the home; one son Mark Dimsha of Albuquerque, NM; one daughter: Rebecca and husband Andrew Caudal of Southlake, TX.; his mother: Ethel Dimsha of Las Cruces, NM; one brother: Richard and wife Denise Dimsha of Las Cruces; four grandchildren: Max Dimsha, Bethany Caudal, Beatrix Caudal and Benjamin Caudal; one sister-in-law: Peggy Dimsha of Lovington and also several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
