She had lived several places before moving to Lovington where she became an integral part of the community. She was a "workaholic" and never slowed down. For forty seven years she ran J & J Janitorial Business and the movie theatre here for twenty three years. She was a big part of getting the theatre made historical and was very proud of that accomplishment. She loved westerns and sunsets, gardening, animals and working. Fishing was also a huge passion in her life. Joyce loved music, especially Elvis and collected Elvis memorabilia and enjoyed shopping for antiques. She was available to anyone that needed errands ran or needed a taxi and was very good with the elderly and little kids. She was a determined and strong willed woman that loved her family and her grandkids very much. She was also an avid OU fan!! Preceding her in death were her parents; two sisters: Susie and Frances; five brothers: Wayne, Norman, Darrel, Buddy and Donnie; and two husbands: Robert Lee Morgan Sr. and John C. Joy. Surviving her are two sons: Robert Lee Morgan of Houston and John Joy of Lovington; three daughters: Kathryn and husband Tommy LeSpade of Houston; Rebecca and husband Melvin Boss of Kermit, TX and Stephanie Hallmark and husband Frank Wooten of Tow, TX; one sister: Donna Forrester of Richmond, Ind; six grandchildren: Renae (David) Rodriguez of Midland, Ashley (Joshua) Inge of Lone Grove, TX, Christopher (Millie) LeSpade of Houston; Jack (Melissa) LeSpade of Houston; Jason (Kristine) Boss of Karns, TX and Stephen (Tiffany) Hallmark of Tow, TX.
