L. and Charlene (Kuykendall) Heavington and passed away at his home on April 14, 2021. Randy started school in Tatum, NM and then later in Lovington and graduated from Lovington High School. He played football and men's fast pitch. He enjoyed going fishing and hunting and loved Ruidoso. He was a people person, always telling jokes and would tell them on his sister a lot but he had a great sense of humor. He loved his family, loved the Lord and loved kids. The neighbor kids would come over and he would buy them candy and talk with them and they loved him. He worked with his dad in construction and did some escorting of oversize loads but his passion was doing carpentry and fixing houses. He enjoyed yard work with LaJuan and she had him planting, watering and taking care of the flowers, and bushes. Randy was a very upbeat, happy person that enjoyed life no matter what was happening. His attitude was always a positive one and he will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
Preceding him in death was his father, his wife, LaJuan McBeth and one brother: Eldon Heavington.
Surviving him is his mother: Charlene Heavington of Lovington, NM; two sons: Jeremy and wife Diane Searcy and Justin and wife Jennifer Searcy, all of Lovington; one brother: Kerry and wife Tanya Heavington of Lovington and one sister: Laura and husband Leslie Sooter of Lovington ; six grandchildren: Amber Searcy, Jason and wife Aquarius Searcy; Calvin Searcy, Shian and husband AJ Davis and Deven Searcy, Freya Searcy.
