She received a diploma from Draughon's Business College in Lubbock. She married Odis Killingsworth on July 17, 1942. He preceded her in death in 1995. Louise married Guy Harrod on September 2, 2000 and he preceded her in death in 2008. Louise was primarily a homemaker while her daughters were growing up, but she also worked at the Lovington Leader for many years. She was a devoted wife and mom and was an amazing Granny. She was a great cook and a wonderful seamstress. Her favorite activities were drinking coffee and visiting with her friends. Louise and Odis enjoyed camping in the Pecos Wilderness and at Cloudcroft and taking trips to Colorado. She was lucky to find love a second time with Guy Harrod. They both liked listening to gospel music, particularly the Gaithers, and traveled to concerts and to Arkansas to visit relatives. She enjoyed reading, working word puzzles and watching the Weather Channel. She was a long time member of Jackson Avenue Baptist Church and was a member of the Iris Garden Club. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husbands; her daughter, Gwen Reagan; a granddaughter, Kimberly Irwin; three sons-in-law, Phil Reagan, Dr. Ron Graham, and Max Fort; her brothers, Ervin, Keith, Bob, and Gene Mason; and her sister, Janie Mason Brashear. Survivors include three daughters: Janie Rodman of Lubbock, Texas; Gina Fort of Lovington; and Gay Jones and husband Richard of Lubbock, Texas; seven grandchildren: Brian Irwin, Denise Keith, Matt Rodman, Jennifer Rodman Moore, Tim Rodman, Dustin Graham, and Courtney Graham Wilson; nine great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. The family wishes to thank GoodLife Senior Living for their loving care and attention. Memorials to the Lovington Public Library (115 South Main Street, Lovington, New Mexico 88260) are suggested.
