I vividly remember Gary when we worked together at KCIA / KPOE in Humble City in 1971-1972. He was always an inspiration in the way he managed to maneuver his wheelchair through the mobile home studio we shared. Lost touch for about 20 years until we crossed paths again in 1992 when I returned to Hobbs for my 20th high school reunion. There was Gary, spinning the records / CDs for the reunion dance! It's wonderful to read his obit and the contributions he made to his family and the community through his vibrant spirit. Thank you, Gary, for the memories. Until we meet again...
