Memorial services for Encarnacion "Chon" Lopez, 75, of Lovington, NM will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 10:00 am at Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel with Fred Vaughn officiating.
Mr. Lopez was born in Cayame, Chihuahua, Mexico on September 17, 1945 to Encarnacion and Lorenta (Andrade) Lopez and passed away on July 3, 2021 in Lovington, NM.
Chon, as he was known by, was a well service operator and worked for El Toro Well Service for in earlier years, then later for other companies. He was married to Mary (Aguilar) Lopez.
He enjoyed his Mexican food and fishing and the casino and family and he never had a serious picture taken, as he was always cutting up when they tried.
