WE REMEMBER THEIR LOVE WHEN THEY NO LONGER REMEMBER After a hard-fought battle with Lewy Body dementia, Clara Lee Youngblood, 83, of Hobbs, New Mexico, passed away on August 3, 2021 at Heritage Health Care in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She was born Clara Lee Grizzle to C.G. and Martha Grizzle on September 27, 1937 in Lawton, Oklahoma. She was the ninth of ten children raised in a loving christian home. She knew that Jesus died for her sins and that He gives full forgiveness to all who give their heart and life to him. Mother received Jesus as her Lord and savior as a young elementary age girl at a tent revival hosted by her daddy behind his grocery store. The congregation was told to tell someone about the revival and invite them. She went and told her teacher and invited her. The teacher came that very night and mom was so excited. She was preceded in death by her husband James Youngblood; her parents, five sisters, four brothers, and a great-grandson Dylan Ryan Linthicum. She is survived by her daughters: Diane (Shelton) Dodson and husband Dyke of Roswell, NM and Shonnie Shelton of Tuscaloosa, AL; granddaughters: Teresa Dodson of Buda, TX., Brandi (Dodson) Linthicum and husband Ryan of Rio Rancho, NM, Jordan (McPeters) Arsenault and husband David of Tuscaloosa, Al; grandsons: Cody Dodson and wife Erin of Ft.
