Obituary of Gloria Ochoa Cabello

Services for Gloria Ochoa Cabello, 78, of Lovington will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Father Samuel Ameh officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby Ratliff Funeral Home. Gloria was born on November 25, 1942 in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico to Marcelo and Maria (Dominguez) Ochoa and passed away on August 29, 2021 in Odessa, TX. Gloria married Antonio on September 16, 1959 and they were married for 61 years. Gloria was a great wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She liked to cook and make bizcochos. Gloria liked taking care of her husband and children. She liked music and joking around with her grandchildren and had a great sense of humor. She was preceded in death by her parents: Marcelo and Maria Ochoa; son: Abdon Cabello; brothers: Manuel Ochoa and Remigio Ochoa; sisters: Elva Rodriguez, Carmen Ramos, Esperanza Martinez and Amparo Ochoa. She is survived by her husband: Antonio Cabello Sr.; son Antonio Cabello Jr and wife Christina; daughters: Sylvia and husband Rigoberto Magallanes, Maria L. and husband Arturo Melendez, Gloria Estela and husband Jorge Martinez, and Carolina and husband Manuel Perez; one brother: Juan de Dios Ochoa; sisters: Graciela Ochoa de Rivas and Juana Ochoa de Grado; twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
