Natalia V. Ontiveros, 94, passed away peacefully at home on September 21, 2021 surrounded by her family. Services will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Father Samuel Ameh officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Natalia was born on March 25, 1927 in El Mulato, Chihuahua, Mexico to Rosendo Villa and Paula Franco. She married Albert Ontiveros on October 31, 1948. They were married for 72 years. Natalia was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, her children and grandchildren were her life. All her grandchildren were welcome and no favorites. She was a great cook, she made the best asado, enchiladas, Tacos, and empanadas. There was always home cooked tortillas, beans and a big bowl of Chile-macho. Everybody was always invited to eat when visiting. She was preceded in death by her husband Alberto Ontiveros Sr.; her parents; Rosendo and Paula Villa; four sisters: Carmen Gomez, Pasquala Hernandez, Maria De Jesus Madrid and Gloria Villa; three brothers: Jose, Manuel and Miguel; one great-granddaughter: Nayeli Gutierrez. She is survived by one daughter: Carmen and husband Eli Luevano of Lovington; five sons: Rosendo and wife Graciela of Olathe Kansas, Alberto Jr. and wife Carmen of Lovington, Freddie and wife Dolores of Artesia, Elias and wife Priscilla of Valdez NM, and Jessie and wife Susie of Albuquerque; one sister: Consuelo Salazar; twelve grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and three great-great- grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021 from 12:00 noon with Rosary at 6:00 pm. Condolences may be sent to www.kirbysmithrogers.com.
