Obituary of Wanda Carolyn Bonner

Funeral services for Wanda C. Bonner, 85, of Lovington will be held on September 25, 2021 at 2:00 pm at 3rd and Central Church of Christ with David Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Wanda was born on September 23, 1935 in Sentinel, Oklahoma to William Pitt and Flora (Williams) Pitt and passed away at home on September 17, 2021. She married William L. Bonner in Hobart, OK. on September 23, 1950. Wanda moved to the area in 1960 where she was a long time employee at Bob's Thriftway as well as operating a motel and gas station with her husband. She loved taking care of her husband and family. Wanda loved her church, McDonalds frappes and puzzles, most of all she loved Jesus. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: William L. Bonner; one brother; Elbert Pitt; three sisters: Lucille Wright, Dorothy Cheatwood, and Billie Ruth King; and one grandson: Deral Bonner III. She is survived by one son: Deral Bonner and wife Robbie of Lovington; two daughters: Lewana and husband Steve Cross of Lovington, and Susie and husband Joel Rogers of Florida; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-grandchildren.
