Obituary of Tonja Lee Edgett

Tonja Edgett, (Mimi, Mom, TJ), 67, of Lovington, NM was born on September 20, 1954 in Throckmorton, Texas to Dossie and Patsy (Brooks) Cribbs and passed away on October 8, 2021 . Preceding her in death were her parents Dossie and Patsy Cribbs. Surviving her is her best friend and spouse Louis Edgett of the home, one daughter: Dena Lee Strickland (Gene), three sons: Harvey Lee Sanders; Damon Edgett (April); and Louis Junior Edgett (Dara), two brothers: Dossie Mac Cribbs (Becky) and Ricky Cribbs (Cyndie). There are eight grandchildren, beacons of light in her life that brought her joy at every single thought of them: Brenden Strickland; Brayden Strickland; Jaelyn Strickland; Rylee Edgett; Logan Cook; Reagan Edgett; Gage Edgett; Harlee Edgett, and countless other children who came to know and love her as Mimi. She loved fiercely everyone that she came to know and told everyone she loved them…Family, Friends and well everyone was her friend. Services will be held Wednesday, October 13, 2021 10:00 AM Crosswinds Community Church, 1701 N. Jefferson St. Hobbs, N.M. 88240. Burial will take place at Resthaven Cemetery in Lovington after. In Lieu of flowers the family has asked that contributions be made to Crosswinds Community Church. She will be missed tremendously, knowing she is with our Heavenly Father brings great Peace beyond all understanding
