Obituary of Luz Carbajal

Luz was born on May 20, 1939 in Ciudad Cuauhtemoc, Chihuahua, Mexico and passed away on November 16, 2021 at her residence. Luz married Manuel Carbajal on March 19, 1955 in Ciudad Cuauhtemoc, Chihuahua, Mexico they shared 66 years together. They moved to the United States in 1968. She liked to go to the casino, cook, crochet, make tamales and canning vegetables. Luz liked her road trips to Ruidoso. She liked spending time with her family and catering to them. Luz loved being outside, with her plants, flowers and her chickens. She was preceded in death by mother: Francisca Munoz; one brother: Carlos Gust; and one grandson: Manuel Carbajal. She is survived by her husband Manuel Carbajal of 66 years; four sons: Jesus Carbajal (Alicia) of Carlsbad, Juan Carbajal (Yubani) of Tatum, Antonio Carbajal of Carlsbad, and Carlos Carbajal of Lemoore, CA; five daughters: Maria Medrano (Socorro) of Carlsbad, Rosa Lopez of Tatum, Gloria Ortega (David) of Carlsbad, Gracie Hinojosa (Erasmo) of Tatum, and Elizabeth Jimenez (Fernando) of Tatum; two brothers: Alfonso Munoz of Cuauhtemoc, Chihuahua, and Avelardo (Lalo) Munoz of Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico; twenty-eight grandchildren and thirty-six great-grandchildren.
