Obituary of Carrie Jo Bostick

Funeral services for Carrie Jo Bostick, 75, of Deming, NM will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 10:00 am at Kirby-Ratliff Chapel. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Carrie was born on May 13, 1946 in Oklahoma to George Harrison Thurman and Annie Marie Canon and passed away on January 1, 2022 in Las Cruces. Carrie liked spending time with her grandson and family. She was a giving person. Carrie as a adult was a secretary in the oil field then was a manager for the Allsups and later worked at the Lovington Inn at the front desk. Carrie later moved to Deming, NM and was involved with her skill in a sewing program for migrant kids she taught this program for five years, she also worked with runaway and neglected kids for the county for about one or two years. She was preceded in death by her parents: George Harrison Thurman and Annie Marie Canon; her step-father: Earl Ray Wilson; one grandson: Casey Frank Kidd. She is survived by her husband Forest Bostick; two sons: Tommy Ray Kidd and Tracy Allen Kidd and wife Rhonda; great grandson: Grayson Kidd; one brother: Rick Barry Wilson and wife Debbie and nephew Travis Wilson and niece Kristen Steele; sister: Pat Hopper and husband Ronnie; nephew Jeremy Hopper and wife Valerie great niece MaKenna Hopper and nephew Malachi Hopper.
