Funeral services for Ralph Edward Bishop, 74, of Lovington, NM will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Kirby-Ratliff Chapel. Officiating is nephew Bradley Bishop. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Ralph was born on November 10, 1947 in Mexia, TX to Ralph and Edna (Ray) Bishop and passed away on January 7, 2022 in Lovington. He married Lillie Bryant on December 30, 1974 and he moved to Lovington in 1973. Ralph was a Baptist and was a gun and coin collector and he enjoyed driving nice vehicles. He was a hydroponic gardener and an avid motorcycle rider. Preceding him in death were his parents: Ralph and Edna Bishop. He is survived by his wife of the home, Lillie Bishop; two sons; Erick Barnes, and Aaron Bishop; one daughter: Janice and husband Larry Hardy; one brother: Charles Bishop and wife Renae; three grandchildren: Larry,"Trae" Hardy, Jescelin Hardy, and Derrick Bishop. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Condolences may be sent to www.kirbysmithrogers.com.
