Funeral services for Belven Rex White, 88, of Hobbs will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Revolution Church in Lovington with Jeff Fountain Officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park in Hobbs. Belven was born on August 3, 1933 in De Leon, Tx to Samuel and Euna (Sims) White and passed away on January 19, 2022 in Lubbock, TX. Belven was employed for Expert Well Service in Hobbs as a Rig Operator for Thirty Five years. He liked working on tractors, going to Daylight Donuts for coffee and to visit with his friends. Belven enjoyed going to the family reunions every year and really enjoyed reading the Bible. He will be forever loved and missed and will always have a special place in our hearts. He was preceded in death by his wife; Bobby Dean White; his parents Samuel and Euna White: two sons: Jackie White and Belven Dean White; brothers: Carlton White, Max White, and Thomas White and one sister: Betty Peterson. He is survived by one son: Sammy White of Hobbs; two daughters: Betty Jones of Hobbs, Roberta Reyes of Breckenridge, TX. and Sandy White of Arkansas; one step-daughter: Lou Ann Capps and John; four grandchildren: Smoky and Krystyne White, Stormy and Shawn Cheairs, Melissa and Darrel Ramsey, and Nikki and Jeff Fountain; twenty-three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
