Funeral services for Ricardo Ponce Garcia Sr.,61, of Hobbs will be held in Ojinaga, Mexico on Wednesday, April 27, 2022. Ricardo was born on April 3, 1961 in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico to Jose and Joaquina Garcia and passed away on April 21, 2022 in Lovington. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Ricardo enjoyed spending time with his sons and doing BBQ every weekends. He loved his grandchildren every time they would go visit him he always had a gift for them. He was a hard worker and loved to help others. His family was everything to him. He was preceded in death by his parents: Jose and Joaquina; his sister: Ofelia. He was survived by four sons: Julian Garcia of San Antonio, Ricardo Garcia Jr. of San Antonio, Joaquin Garcia of Hobbs and Damien Garcia of Hobbs; four brothers: Eladio, Manuel, Jose Del Cruz, and Armando; four sisters: Anselma, Petra, Ramona and Norma; and six grandchildren.
