Obituary of Alberto Alvarez Jr.

Funeral services for Alberto Alvarez Jr., 46, of Lovington will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 2:00 pm at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Father Samuel Ameh officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Alberto was born on November 27, 1975 in Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico to Alberto and Rosa Alvarez and passed away on June 26, 2022. Alberto was a hard worker. He was very intelligent, brave, generous, and humble. Alberto was very loving with his wife, daughters, father, mother, brothers, and sisters. He enjoyed being at home with his family. Alberto loved eating at home or out. He was a very disciplined man always talked with his daughters of goals so they didn't have to work like he did. He was preceded in death by his daughter: Analy Alvarez and one brother: Vicente Alvarez. He is survived by his wife Sandra Anchondo; two daughters: Anahy Alvarez and Arely Alvarez; his parent: Alberto and Rosa Alvarez; five brothers: Carlos Ignacio Alvarez, Magdaleno Alvarez, Hector Alvarez, Sabino Alvarez, and Esteban Alvarez; three sisters: Elvia Alvarez, Fatima Alvarez, and Josefina Alvarez. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 12:00 pm until 6:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at St. Thomas Catholic Church. Condolences may be sent to www.kirbysmithrogers.com.
