Joe was born on September 20, 1939 in Carlsbad, NM to Woodrow Wilson and Lorene May (Jones) Andrews and passed away on October 19, 2022 in Albuquerque. Joe graduated from Carlsbad High School and continued his education at the University of New Mexico Pharmacy School. After graduating, he moved to Lovington and owned Andrews Prescriptions for thirty-nine years. He enjoyed bow hunting and one of his favorite hunts was a safari in South Africa. Joe was a big sports fan. He supported the Lovington Wildcats and enjoyed following college football and basketball. He also loved a good game of golf. Joe married Wanda Justice on June 26, 1993 in Lovington. He was a member of 3rd & Central Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents: Woodrow Wilson and Lorene May Andrews; one brother: Don Andrews; and one sister: Sandra Smith. He is survived by his wife: Wanda Justice Andrews; one son: Jeff Andrews and wife Sharron; two daughters: D'Lene Andrews, Tammy Hobbs and husband Robert; three grandchildren: Rachel Panneton and husband Bradley, Rebekah Andrews, and Ruth Andrews; and sister-in-law: Virginia Andrews. In lieu of flowers, donations to honor Joe may be made to 3rd & Central Church of Christ, P.O Box. 1513 Lovington, NM 88260.
