Graveside services for Billie Jean James, 80, of Lovington will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Lovington Cemetery with Randy Duncan officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Billie was born on October 22, 1942 in Long Beach California to Bill and Norma (Speight) McRay, raised by Cecil and Norma McPherson and passed on December 20, 2022. Billie worked for Ma Bell AT&T as a Office Secretary for many years in Michigan. She loved being with family. Billie was a very loving and giving person. She was preceded in death by her parents: Cecil and Norma McPherson; and her loving partner: Armando Romero. She is survived by her daughter: Judy and husband Erik Johnson; one brother: Greg McPherson and wife Lynda; one granddaughter: Krystal and husband Nate Guzek; one great-grandson Hunter Guzek: three nephews: Jacob, Zack, and Lane; special friend Cindy Kerr and sisters. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 26, 2022 from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to www.kirbysmithrogers.com.
