Obituary of Clarence Bob Stevenson

Bob was born May 10, 1941 in Sallisaw Oklahoma to Oscar Stephens and Lizzie (Comingdeer) Daugherty and passed away on March 29, 2023 at his residence. Bob moved to Hobbs in June of 1964. Bob had many passions; fishing with his friends at Green Meadow Lake, gardening producing his prized tomatoes, painting and refinishing furniture. He was a member of the Cherokee Nation Tribe and so proud of his Cherokee heritage, being a fluent speaker of the language. He was preceded in death by parents; one brother; and three sisters. He is survived by his wife: Peggy Stevenson; three sons: Robert Stevenson and wife Alicia, Sharman Stevenson, and Travis Stevenson and wife Renee; one daughter: Lorenda Spalding and husband Randall; sixteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
