Memorial services for Philip Moreno, 55, of Lovington will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Church Of Living Waters with Pastor Enrique Contreras officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Philip was born on December 29, 1967 in Lovington to Felipe and Selsa Moreno and passed away on March 31, 2023. Philip liked fishing, playing pool, and loved music, especially Tejano and Pop. He was a hard worker and loved working on cars. Philip was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. He liked going to the Guidance Center (PSI). Philip loved his family especially his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Felipe and Selsa Moreno; three sisters: Silvia Moreno, Anna Marie Moreno and Katy Sandoval; and one nephew: Christoval Alcorta.

He is survived by his daughter: Monique Brandy Moreno; three sisters: Angie and husband Adrian Guillen, Eva and husband Gerardo Enriquez, and Mary Ann Garcia; three brothers: George Chavez and wife Judy, Abel Moreno, and Jessie Moreno and wife Rebecca; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 pm at Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home.
