Obituary of Kyle Wade Adams

Memorial services for Kyle Wade Adams, 39, of Lovington will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel. Kyle was born on July 6, 1983 in Liberal, Kansas to Jerry and Joyce (Bourland) Adams and passed away on April 3, 2023 in Lubbock, Texas with family by his side. He graduated from Lovington High School in 2002. Before moving to Lovington, NM he lived in Beaver, OK. until 3rd grade. After graduating Kyle moved to Odessa, TX. while there he worked at the TV Station- KOSA for several years and then started working for Sweat Construction for a few years. After that he moved back to Lovington to help his dad maintain his rental properties. Besides spending time with family, Kyle had a passion for sports. He was a sports fanatic. Kyle loved the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Longhorns, but the New York Yankees was by far his favorite team of all. He loved his Yankees! Kyle also loved and supported the Middle Tennessee Women's Golf team, coached by his sister, Chris Adams. He loved his family gatherings around the holidays and just "hanging out" with the family. He especially was proud of his nephews, Kaleb & Trey. His eyes would light up when they were in the room. He also adored his 4 great nieces and his great nephew. Kyle was preceded in death by his father Jerry Adams, and both sets of his grandparents. He is survived by his mother, Jeanette Adams of Lovington, NM. Sisters Missy (Steve) Nelson of Hobbs, NM, Chris Adams of Murfreesboro, TN. Two nephews: Kaleb (Mireya) Adams of Hobbs, NM, and Trey Nelson of Hobbs, NM; Great Nieces: Miley Adams, Mikah Adams, and Karley Adams of Hobbs, NM, Brooklyn Nelson and Brayden Nelson of Hobbs, NM.
