Obituary of Alberto Ricky Sanchez Jr.

Funeral Services for Alberto Ricky Sanchez Jr., 39, of Lovington will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 9:00 am with Father Samuel Ameh officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Alberto was born on July 17, 1983 in Hobbs to Alberto Ricky Sanchez Sr. and Delma (Sandoval) Sanchez and passed away on April 17, 2023. Alberto came into this world a happy baby loved by his grandmother Maria and mother's first born (Mama's boy) our beautiful blue eye baby boy was very much loved and cherish. He loved sports and enjoyed time with family, Thanksgiving was his favorite holiday. He brought a lot of joy to his family. He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandmother: Maria de la Luz Sandoval; his paternal grandfather : Adolfo Sanchez; one uncle Federico Jr Sandoval; and one nephew: Zaidyn Ray Molinar. He is survived by his parents: Alberto Ricky Sr. and Delma Sandoval; one son: Armando Sanchez; one brother: Christopher Sanchez and wife Stephanie; one sister: Heather Brooke and husband Joshua Santos; three nieces and one nephew; paternal grandmother: Alice Carrillo; his paternal grandfather: Federico Sandoval; uncles: Arthur Sanchez, Hector Sandoval and wife Corina, and Tony Sandoval; aunts: Lucy and husband Marcos Segundo, Elida and husband Dusty Perry, Joann and husband Ricardo Hinojos, and Sandra and husband Manuel Huerta; and many cousins and extended family members. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 2:00 pm until after Rosary. Rosary will be held at 6:00 pm at Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to www.kirbysmithrogers.com.
