Funeral services for Frank Sosa Alvarado, 60, of Lovington will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Father Samuel Ameh officiating burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Frank was born on December 19, 1962 in Kermit, Texas to Esteban and Dolores (Sosa) Alvarado and passed away on May 10, 2023. Frank Alvarado was more than just an incredible dad, husband, brother, friend, and grandpa; he was a shining example of unconditional love and generosity. His heart overflowed with love for his family and friends, and he made it his life's mission to spread joy and happiness wherever he went. Frank had a way of making everyone feel valued and appreciated, and his positive energy was absolutely contagious. His laughter and sense of humor were infectious, bringing a ray of sunshine to even the darkest of days. Frank's warm smile could light up an entire room, and his unwavering faith in God was a testament to his pure and loving soul. His beautiful spirit and kind heart will forever be missed, leaving behind an irreplaceable void in the lives of all those who had the honor of knowing him.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Esteban and Dolores Alvarado; two brothers: Manuel Alvarado and Santiago Alvarado; and two sisters: Estefana Lara and Sheila Lujan.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-nine years Annabel Alvarado; one son: Christopher Alvarado; one daughter: Yvette Alvarado and Alexander Rhoades; four brothers: Steve Alvarado, Raymond Alvarado, Oscar Alvarado, and Tony Alvarado; one sister: Margie Martinez; and one granddaughter: Annalynn Rhoades; and many nieces and nephew.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 from 11:00 am until after Rosary. Rosary will be held at 6:00 pm at Kirby-Ratliff Chapel.
