Obituary of Vicente Trey Mendoza III

Funeral services for Vicente Trey Mendoza III, 19, of Hobbs formally of Lovington will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Father Christopher Amojo officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Trey was born on January 22, 2004 in Hobbs New Mexico to Vicente and Emma (Juarez) Mendoza and passed away on July 1, 2023. Trey graduated from Lovington High School in 2022 and loved to play in the High School Band. He liked fishing, hunting and riding his four- wheeler. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and dogs. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: Vicente Mendoza Sr.; one uncle: Abel Mendoza; and one cousin: Cristoval Gutierrez. He is survived by his parents: Vicente Mendoza Jr. and Emma; two brothers: Dario Garcia and Diego Garcia; one sister: Hannah Rose Mendoza. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 10, 2023 from 3:00 pm until after Rosary. Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm at Kirby-Ratliff Chapel. Condolences may be sent to www.kirbysmithrogers.com.
