Funeral services for Glenn W Nash, 89, of Hobbs will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 10:00 am at the Kirby-Ratliff Chapel with Pastor David officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Glenn was born on June 4, 1934 in Ringwood, Oklahoma to Wayne and Nora (Byfield) Nash and passed away on July 5, 2023 in Hobbs. Glenn graduated from Hobbs High School. He served in the United States Army and was a proud patriot. Then attended College for business and craftsmanship. He owned and operated Nash Construction in Hobbs and Albuquerque NM.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Wayne and Nora Nash.

He is survived by his daughter: Cindy and husband C.D. Brooker of Lovington; His wife: Alice Nisley of Lovington; one sister: Laura Ann and Ron Worden Rice of Anson, TX; five granddaughters: Sara and Grady Johnson, Lisa Philibert and Eric, Charlene and Andrew Jouett, Donna Philibert and Erik, Jessica and Nathan Jones; nine great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Glenn was a hard worker and loved his family. He was a regular at the Hobbs Eagle basketball games, attended all the grandkids and great grandkids events. He enjoyed trout fishing and camping in New Mexico and Colorado. He planned on working his gold mine in Silverton Colorado to make it rich!.....But work got in the way.

He will be truly missed.
