Eileen Elizabeth Lambright Obituary

Memorial services for Eileen Elizabeth Lambright, 74, of Hobbs will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 11:00 am at Hillcrest Baptist Church with David Villar officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Eileen was born on July 11, 1949 in Pauls Valley Oklahoma to Odis Garland and Winnie Bell (Bledsoe) Bailey and passed away on August 23, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her family. Eileen worked for Valero Wildcat for 30 plus years. She liked going to Ruidoso, casino, bingo and going to garage sales on Saturdays. Eileen loved when all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren came home for the holiday's. She loved baking especially for Christmas. Eileen enjoyed gardening and canning.


She was preceded in death by her parents: her husband: Robert Lee Lambright; one son: Tommy Odis Lambright; five brothers and one sister.


She is survived by her son: Bobby Lambright and wife Cherity of Buchanan Dam, Texas; two daughters: Janice Bates and husband Paul of Gonzales, Louisiana, and Shelly Lambright and Kevin McCurter of Hobbs; one sister: Deloris Mantooth and husband John of Paoli, Oklahoma; Michael (Lindsey) Mikey (Karah), Terri (Colt), Micah, Clayton, Justin, Tommylee, Dallas and Elizabeth; Seven great-grandchildren: Gabe, Emma, James, Branson, Lyrah, Corbin and Taelynn and a godchild: Shannie Long and lifelong friends: Cheri Long and Ruth VanWinkle and numerous other adopted children and grandchildren; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and extended family and friends.
