Martin Gardea Reyes, 52, of Hobbs passed away on September 26, 2023. Martin was born on September 2, 1971 in Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico to Abel Gardea and Juanita Reyes. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Martin married Clara Isela Morales on October 16, 1990 in Parral, Mexico. He was a hard worker and had a lot of plans and projects. Martin loved his family and enjoyed spending all his time with them; he also loved to cook especially when people would come around. He was the person who whatever he had on his mind he could accomplish. He was definitely a has on people person. Martin was all about riding his motorcycle and being at his ranch enjoying his animals. He was preceded in death by his mother: Juanita Reyes and one granddaughter: Myliegh Rose Roberts. He is survived by his wife: Clara Gardea of 32 years; two daughters: Brenda and husband Thomas Roberts and Zaira Gardea; six brothers: Luis Carlos Gardea, Alejandro Gardea, Robeto Gardea, Jazheel Gardea, Josue Gardea, and David Gardea; three sisters: Martha Gardea, Araceli Gardea, and Karina Gardea; and four grandchildren: Milani Roberts, Daviegh Roberts, Davina Roberts, and Zyliegh Moralez. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to www.smithrogers.com.
