Funeral services for Kelly G. Henderson will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel with David Stewart officiating. Kelly was born to Jerry West and Marlene (Hanna) Head in Artesia, New Mexico and passed away on October 10, 2023 in Lubbock, Texas. Kelly married John Henderson on March, 7, 1997 in Hobbs, New Mexico. Her passion was reading, puzzles, and genealogy. Kelly liked to go hunting, shooting, and all sports. She liked to give everybody a hard time, but had the biggest heart. Kelly loved chasing all of her kids around more than anything else. She is preceded in death by her parent: Jerry West and Marlene Head; and her step-father: Harvey Head; her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Larry and Bernice Griffith. She is survived by her husband: John B. Henderson; two sons: Justin Cope and Kera, and John T. Henderson and Jennifer; one daughter: Amber Crawford; three sisters: Dawn Mahan, Michelle and husband Aaron Woods, and Judith and husband Brian Puryear; ten grandchildren and thirteen nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday October 13, 2023 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm. . Condolences may be sent to smithrogers.com.
