Ronald Keith Patterson, 84, of Tatum, New Mexico passed away on October 20, 2023 at his residence. Ronald was born on June 5, 1939 in Montcalm Township, Michigan to Basil and Jesse (Starn) Patterson. Ronald married Patricia Marie Lauxman on December 18, 2013 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He served in the Navy and was shot down in Cambodia where he spent 1 year as a POW. Ronald was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and hated to watch them loose. He loved traveling and collecting coins, and his many furry friends. After spending most of his life in big cities as a hospital administrator and CFO, he enjoyed his final years peacefully living out on his Son-In-Law's ranch in Caprock, NM. He was preceded in death by his parents: Basil and Jesse Patterson; his second wife: Sharon O'Brian; and one step-daughter: Stacey Hendrickson. He is survived his wife Patricia Marie Patterson; two step-sons: Andrew Langfitt, and Keith Langfitt; one step-daughter: Leslie; two sons-in-law: Jarrell "Ricky" Pearce and Gerald Hendrickson; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
