Funeral services for Kristopher Michael Mendez, 26, of Lovington will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Cameron Veazey officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Kristopher was born on January 1, 1997 in Lamesa, Texas to Sergio Guillermo and Rosario (Martinez) Mendez and passed away on October 14, 2023. Kristopher liked working in the Oil Field. He loved music, singing, and making music. Kristopher loved being around his family. He loved his mother, kids, and all his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Jose and Elvira Martinez; one aunt: Dora Salinas; and one brother: Thomas James Carter III.

He is survived by his mother: Rosario Mendez; one son: Trey Zevon Mendez; one daughter: Aaliyah A'ane Mendez; two brothers: Francisco Sierra and Sergio Mendez; one sister: Hillary Martinez.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2023 from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm.
